Watching this coyote hunting video really brought back the memories. We took a trip to the plains of Eastern Colorado to try and call in a coyote. The drive takes us a couple of hours, so we decided to take my old pull behind camper. The logical spot to camp was a State Wildlife Area. It was centrally located near most of the private area we hunt. We really coyote hunt a lot of good country out there so we really didn’t take the State Wildlife Area very serious. Our third coyote hunting video was what we thought was our first video success. We had been really working hard at getting a good solid hunts on film. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t do wrong at least once. You might say we had bruises on our thighs from punching our self in the leg. When everything lined up perfectly on other hunts it seemed like we always made a mistake. We would get so excited that we wouldn’t push record, or just simply throw the camera in the dirt, because we were so afraid that we would miss the coyote. [Read more...]

Uriah Wurst goes solo on this coyote hunt. Lance Benson was busy working so Uriah took a camera man with him to see what he could get done. This was one of the early Bucking The Odds coyote hunts. You will get a kick out of this video. Uriah just went hunting a week before with the famous Tim Wells of Relentless Pursuit. Tim Wells gave Uriah a fist full of tracer rounds. [Read more...]

Google Earth is a great way to get a bird’s eye view of your coyote hunting property! A lot of terrain features are not visible from your vehicle. It is great to see every feature on your hunting property. This can really help to make good decisions on where to make your coyote stands. Using Google Earth to locate water, cover, and a place to hide your vehicle is a big advantage to the hunter. I like the outdoors, because I can escape technology and the fast paced world, but Google Earth is something I will not ignore.
