Google Earth is a great way to get a bird’s eye view of your coyote hunting property! A lot of terrain features are not visible from your vehicle. It is great to see every feature on your hunting property. This can really help to make good decisions on where to make your coyote stands. Using Google Earth to locate water, cover, and a place to hide your vehicle is a big advantage to the hunter. I like the outdoors, because I can escape technology and the fast paced world, but Google Earth is something I will not ignore.
Use Google Earth to scout any hunting property. You may want to examine a good place to hunt predators or big game!

Coyote Hunting with Google Earth

I use Google Earth for every place I hunt. Owners are impressed when you show up at their house with an aerial map of their place and they can show you where the property lines are and other important landmarks, etc. are located. When I know that all the info that I need is on the map I will take it home and put the owner’s name, address, phone number(s), and any other important info on the back of the map and then laminate it.
Then when I get ready to go hunting I just throw the maps of the places that I am getting ready to hunt in my backpack and take off. The maps last forever and all the info is always close at hand. You can even laminate the written permission slip onto the back of the map if you want to.
