This was a hunt that brings back memories. Uriah Wurst and I went coyote hunting with a really good guy named Dave Seynore who managed a large ranch in Eastern Colorado. I will never forget the coyote I shot, because it was missing one of it’s K9 teeth and the other was broke off. The coyote had battle scars all over it’s face. It was truly a coyote that had been around for a while. On this particular ranch they lose calves because of coyotes. This was definitely a good coyote to get rid of.
We used hand calls to bring in two coyotes. The lead coyote ran right up under me and I took it out with a shotgun. The second coyote turned on the afterburners and ran like crazy as I left a trail of bullets behind it. I just couldn’t connect on the second coyote…. This video is a good example of hunting next to buildings. We actually hunted right behind Dave Seynore’s house.

That was a fun coyote hunt! That looked like an old dog, it made good video when you all were flinging lead at the second one! I remember thinking, don't let him get into the creek or I won't get it on film. Well the coyote managed to get to the creek!
Nice hunt!!! MAN that first dog came truckin in! I've never had a coyote come in like that.
It might be what to do or what not to do. LOL
