Coyote Hunting Video 6 with Bucking The Odds

This is a stand that Uriah Wurst and I have made many times over the years. It is a tough location because the coyotes seem to come from all directions. I had made Uriah a coyote call just before this hunt. Uriah is the type of person that doesn’t like to change his techniques when it is working.I think Uriah just used the call I made for him out of guilt. This is a short video that shows the fun and excitement of coyote hunting.

If I remember correctly we actually spotted a couple of coyotes in a field when they drove in to this property. It is very difficult to pull off a productive coyote hunting stand after you see a coyote, especially if there is the slightest possibility that the coyotes may have seen you. Uriah and I are always willing to give it a shot if there is a possibility. Although they weren’t able to get the first two coyotes to respond, a third coyote appeared out of nowhere.
