Bucking the Odds Predator Challenge 2012
Read Rules Below before entering!!!
1. Bucking The Odds Predator Challenge is designed to be fun and entertaining. Even though you’re competing against other members in our forum for prizes we would like to remind you that the main purpose of the contest is for you to share your hunts, pictures, and stories with us. You will also have Bragging Rights as the winner of the Bucking The Odds Predator Challenge 2012.
2. We are privileged to have you in our forum and would like you to set the example of how a true sportsman conducts themselves in the field. You are responsible for your own actions.
Bucking the Odds is NOT and will NOT be responsible for the actions of the contestants. It is the contestant’s responsibility to know and abide by their local laws and regulations.
3. Bucking the Odds Predator Challenge Registration opens at 12:00 AM Mountain Time, January 1, 2012 and closes at 11:59 PM Mountain Time on February 14, 2012.
Opening Day for Hunting will start January 14, 2012 and will end March 4, 2012 at 11:59 PM.
4. All contestants entering the contest are required to pay a $25.00 Entry Fee. You will be able to register on the Website forum under Calling Events “Bucking the Odds Predator Challenge 2012” by February 14, 2012 before 11:59 PM Mountain time. Any participants trying to register after this date will not be accepted. Bucking The Odds promotional items will be a requirement for this contest. We will send you a Bucking The Odds sticker and (L) shirt. The first 20 entries will receive a Mojo Predator Hunting DVD.
5. Contestants will be defined as Bucking The Odds Members who have registered in the contest. The prize package will be distributed to the entered member, but that member can hunt with a hunting partner. The contestant needs to appear in the picture, with the image requirement of the week.
6. Contest entries are made in the form of photographs. You are welcome to use an image hosting site (example photobucket.com). Scoring is not completed until the contest closes. If your image is removed from the image hosting site or otherwise moved or lost, they will not be counted. Images must be present for the duration of the contest. Photographs must be posted on the Bucking the Odds forum to be eligible in accordance to the rules the poses defined and time limits of the contest.
Bucking The Odds promotional items will be a requirement for this contest that will be included with your entry fee (sticker, shirt (L)) first 20 entries will receive a Mojo Predator DVD.
Contest Photographs entries should not contain more than 3 harvested coyotes at a time and must be clearly visible on the picture. No exceptions, remember no more than 3 Coyotes in one picture. This will help the moderators judge the pictures better. Photographs must be posted on the Bucking the Odds forum to be eligible in accordance to the rules, the poses defined, and time limits of the contest.
There will be specific details regarding contest image requirements posted on January 13th, 2012 at 8:00 PM Mountain time.
Only members that enter the contest can submit their image. Another person cannot post images on behalf of the contestant. Two separate members that have entered the contest cannot re-use an image.
7. Bucking the Odds Pro Staff or Moderators are not permitted to compete in the contest.
8. No field staff or pro staff members from competing companies are permitted to compete in this contest.
9. All Predatory Animals will be counted as one point, (Gray fox, Red fox, Bobcat, Coyote) every two weeks the pose will change on the Animal and will be part of image requirement.
In case of a tie, ties are broken by date and time of posting on an entry picture. This will eliminate sand bagging pictures, meaning that as soon a participant kills a predatory animal he needs to post it on the website to get the upper hand on other contestants. Bucking The Odds Website save time and date on every post on the forum.
10. We have the right to disqualify any contestant for violating any State rules, DNR, Game and Fish regulations, Bucking the Odds Contest and Forum rules. In the event a Pro Staff Member is in question of a discrepancy, consultation with 2 or more Pro Staff Members and together their decision will be final.
11. We reserve the right to change or update the rules on the contest to keep it fair for everyone. First Image requirement will be posted January 13, 2012. Image requirements are changing at 8:00 PM Mountain Time on:
January 25, 2012
February 8, 2012,
Final Image Change February 22, 2012 Contest end March 4, 2012.
In case a participant has not received his BTO gear for the Contest he will need to print out the logo for each image requirement date that will be posted and have it in the field with him for the picture and will need to know the pose. Participants that have their BTO Gear (shirt, Sticker) will only need to know the pose for those two weeks and use their BTO Gear for the picture. Any question PM RSC
12. All picture submitted must be taken during the day. Once an image requirement deadline has passed any remaining pictures not loaded within the time will not count.
All participants need to agree to Tournament Rules to participate. By submitting and paying your entry you are agreeing and acknowledging that you have read and agree to the rules of this contest.
In case a member under the age of 18 wins the contest a Parent or Legal Guardian will need to receive the Shotgun at his or her FFL Dealer of choice. All transfer fees are responsibility of the winner. We are only shipping to the Lower 48 States the Shotgun.
Participants that live in locations where we can’t send the firearm (example Hawaii, Alaska, and overseas), could still participate in the contest. They could still have the opportunity to win the remaining 1st place prizes (Shotgun will not be included).
13. Bucking the odds will not tolerate any contestants harassing each other; all members should know our rules for our forum. Any members who are found to be harassing other contestants will be disqualified from the contest and brought up for review for possible being banned from the forum.
14. All scoring of the contest is done by Bucking Odds Pro Staff Members. We ask that all contestants conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner. Cheating and trying to modify pictures with the same Coyote in different setups or pose will result in disqualification. In the event a Pro Staff Member is in question of a discrepancy, consultation with 2 or more Pro Staff Members and together their decision will be final.
